Rock band The Last Dinner Party brings the flavor with their new single “Knocking At The Sky” off the deluxe version of their second studio album, From The Pyre.
“Knocking At The Sky” is a perfect song for witchy autumn vibes, similar to what we’d see from artists like Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac. Building an enchanting and ethereal fantasy world, the band had this to say in a press release about the deluxe album and its story:
“‘Knocking at the sky’ final tale from The Pyre. After creating an album about storytelling and world-building, we thought it apt to end this act with a story set in the sinister myth world itself: Los Angeles. Hollywood is the ultimate fairytale; the stakes are at surreal heights, the landscape is unruly and plastic, and it’s populated with a cast of Grimm characters all striving and struggling at the center of their own hero’s journey.”
The band accumulated massive success after the release of the very first track off the album almost a year ago, “This Is The Killer Speaking.” In addition, two new singles were introduced for this deluxe album: “Big Dog” and “Come All You Beasts.”
The rock band recently completed a lengthy US headlining tour, but the party isn’t over just yet! They will be having their debut festival headline performance at Wilderness, playing at Latitude, supporting sombr on his headlining US tour, and will support Olivia Rodrigo’s The Unravelled Tour in LA and New York in January 2027.
The Last Dinner Party also has a project to support local food banks in each of the cities they perform in called Ribbons for Provisions. They’ve raised almost £50,000 in the UK and Europe, and over $40,000 in the US too.
