McKay risks it all for love in new song “Casino”

Date:

McKay is a four-piece indie rock band from Nashville, Tennessee. They are known for their raw, emotional storytelling, which will be highlighted in their full-length album set to be released this fall. Their new song “Casino,” the title track of their new EP released today, focuses on risk in relationships.

“Casino” is about taking chances to form strong connections. Through strong harmonies and steady acoustic guitar, McKay compares the highs and lows of love to experiences at a casino. The chorus sings “And I know I played my cards / But the deck was loaded right from the start / It’s the way you play the game / Leaving only the casino to blame”, showing that, similar to gambling at a casino, everyone takes a chance on love.

You can listen to “Casino” below.
