Marianas Trench and 604 Records celebrate 20 years of partnership with limited-edition vinyl box set

Date:

Marianas Trench and 604 Records are celebrating 20 years of music and partnership with the release of a limited-edition vinyl box set. The special collector’s item will feature exclusive vinyl pressings of each of the Canadian pop-rock band’s six studio albums and a physical release of their Live At The Rave Milwaukee live album for the first time ever. The box sets went on sale on June 27th via 604 Records’ website, but have since sold out.

The band’s guitarist, Matt Webb, shared his gratitude for the opportunity to put together something so special for the fans and celebrate their work with 604 Records. He expressed,

“‘The Box Set’ seemed like nothing more than a fantasy 20 years ago — a milestone that only the greatest bands could achieve. Yet here we are, putting together a lifetime’s worth of work into a wonderful-looking package for not only our fans, but us, to enjoy. We are tremendously privileged to have sustained a career and life in this industry, and for that we have you, Trenchers, to thank. Our record label, 604 Records, has been staunch supporters of everything we’ve ever wanted to do artistically from day one, allowing us complete creative control and the ability to chase after our dreams, no matter how wild and crazy. This box set celebrates that partnership. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.”

The box set features unique modifications to each vinyl that were only available as part of this collection. It features Fix Me (2006), Masterpiece Theatre (2009), Ever After (2011), Astoria (2015), Phantoms (2019), Live at the Rave Milwaukee (2022) and their latest record, Haven (2024). The set also includes handwritten messages from each member of Marianas Trench, photos from each album era, individually numbered hot foil detailing, exclusive colored discs, 3D artwork, a double-sided poster, and even more specialty items.

604 Records has also upgraded several of the band’s most popular music videos on a new section of their YouTube channel dubbed 604 Restored. The series sees older music videos upscaled to a higher 4K quality and will be released throughout the summer, with “Say Anything” from Fix Me being the first of the bunch. Speaking on celebrating such a monumental partnership, President and co-founder Jonathan Simkin shared,

“604 Records has been lucky to work with many amazing artists in our 20+ year history. I have often said that Marianas Trench is the quintessential 604 artist, and I do believe that to be the case. So many things about this band represent what 604 is all about: artistic freedom, innovative marketing techniques, and building a dedicated fanbase over a period of time I am so proud to release this great box set which is not only a symbol of our relationship to the band but a gift back to the amazing fanbase who have stuck with the band through all these years.”

Marianas Trench will be on the Force of Nature Tour throughout the United States this upcoming fall in support of Haven. Tickets and information for the band’s upcoming fall tour can be found here
