Los Angeles-born singer and songwriter Lexi Jayde has announced the release of her debut album, lover girl, on August 21. The album will include 14 tracks, three of which are available now.
Best known for her 2022 hit single, “drunk text me,” which racked up hundreds of millions of views on social media platforms like TikTok, Jayde has stepped into the next part of her career. The debut album will be available for streaming starting on August 21 and is now available for pre-save here.
In the announcement post on Instagram, Jayde stated,
“I’ve waited very patiently for this day, and this record means the absolute most to me. there are truly no words to describe my love for these songs and how i feel right now. it’s a pinch me moment sitting on my bed typing this. I put my all into this album and i can’t wait for it to finally be yours…. and so it begins 💌 welcome to the world of lover girl.”
She also shared that her latest single, “i’ve missed you longer,” is out now.
