Lemonade Baby and Ronnie Sinclair seek communication in new song “Seeing Double”

Date:

Lemonade Baby is taking the Australian music scene by storm. Formed in 2020, Lemonade Baby has been at the forefront of the ever-changing music scene in Australia, mixing genres such as alt pop, indie pop, and Australian Dance to create his unique sound. For his latest release, he has teamed up with Ronnie Sinclair to create “Seeing Double”, a song focusing on the unpredictability of the future.

“Seeing Double” is about uncertainty in a romantic relationship. Through high-energy percussion and driving bass, Lemonade Baby and Ronnie Sinclair have a hard time exploring the future of a relationship because of their lack of communication. Because of the drastic highs and lows experienced in this relationship, Lemonade Baby and Ronnie Sinclair sing they are “seeing double” because both the good and bad sides of this partner are revealed, causing them to rethink this future.

Sharing more about the meaning behind “Seeing Double”, Ronnie Sinclair comments:

“It’s really a breakdown of communication, when you’re trying to find common ground but you’re just passing by each other again and again. And you feel like you’re going insane at a point. The frustration of being so close but, yet so far.”
