On January 15, rising UK-based rock group HotWax released their new single “One More Reason.” The song is the latest to be released ahead of the band’s upcoming debut LP Hot Shock, out March 7 via Marathon Artists. Further illustrated with a music video directed by Josh Quinton, “One More Reason” is the latest glimpse into HotWax’s thrilling embrace of the unknown.

“One More Reason” is the third single the band has released, directly following “She’s Got A Problem” and “Wanna Be A Doll.” Dancing along the edges of love and hate, “One More Reason” tells a story of loving somebody so much that you almost hate them. Further exemplifying the overall themes of love, relationships and identity that may be found on Hot Shock, “One More Reason” is a definitive and explosive track to be found on the record.

HotWax will release their debut album on March 7, and will embark on an in-store tour on March 3 where they will play Hot Shock in full in record stores across the UK.

While they haven’t yet released their full-length debut album, HotWax — composed of Tallulah Sim-Savage, Lola Sam and Alfie Sayers — have already made serious headway in the rock world. Not only has the UK trio received praise from NME, DIY Magazine and The Independent, but they have also earned support from legends such as Courtney Love, Karen O, Beck and Wolf Alice. It is their undying spirit and unique and fiery artistry that has made HotWax one of music’s most prominent groups to look out for in 2025.

Stream “One More Reason,” the new single from HotWax, on Spotify and Apple Music.
