Since 1983, generation after generation has become acquainted with the rock and roll stylings of Bon Jovi. The band has sold over 130 million albums worldwide, has performed in more than 50 countries, and – in the last ten years alone – has earned over $1 billion in ticket sales around the world. And not only has Bon Jovi been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, but they have been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame as well. They have had an incredible 40-year career, and to commemorate such a history, Genesis Publications is ready to release Bon Jovi: Forever.
Set to arrive in June of this year, Bon Jovi: Forever is the ultimate collector’s item for any Bon Jovi fan. The 264-page book includes over 1,300 images from the band’s archive, featuring studio track lists, handwritten lyrics, and tour passes and posters. There are also hundreds of images of the band from various moments on tour, performing live, recording in the studio, and hanging out backstage. Aside from these visuals is a 35,000-word narration told by Jon Bon Jovi himself. Fans will get to learn about Jon’s formative teenage years, the making of key Bon Jovi albums, and details about the band’s most recent album, Forever. On the whole, it is a rare look into the life and legacy of Bon Jovi.
The anthology will be limited to 1,500 copies worldwide, and each copy will be hand-signed by Jon Bon Jovi. As far as presentation is concerned, it comes in a black clamshell box that is lined with a collage of Bon Jovi tour passes and pins. A special compartment in the box will contain replicas of memorabilia from the Bon Jovi archive: three Bon Jovi pins and badges, two guitar picks, a VIP ‘Have a Nice Day’ tour pass, and Jon Bon Jovi’s personal All Access laminate pass for the 1984 ‘Runaway’ tour.
Additionally, a chrome-colored 7” vinyl will be included with each copy. The details about which two singles will be featured on the vinyl are TBA.
Bon Jovi: Forever will be released in June. Pre-orders can be made here.
