From Ashes to New enter new era with release of explosive single “New Disease”

Date:

Ahead of their appearance at Vans Warped Tour in Long Beach, CA this weekend, From Ashes to New has released their new single “New Disease” via Better Noise Music. The track marks the band’s first new release since last year’s deluxe edition of their fourth studio album, Blackout.

“New Disease” is a cutthroat anthem about the looming danger of blindly following trends in modern society. The song strives to intensify the alt-metal group’s sound and vision and galvanize their growing fan base. From Ashes to New explores the twisted reality of how far people are willing to go to become viral or participate in the latest, never-ending trends over the song’s three minute duration.

Put a gun against your head / Pull the trigger join the trend” and “We feed our new addiction / Until we overdose” convey the band’s concern and distress surrounding how desensitized the world has become to this phenomenon. Speaking on this sentiment, co-vocalist Matt Brandyberry shares,

“Every day there’s a new trend. Every day there’s a new wave of people going out of their way to be recognized no matter the cost. We are hypnotized by our vices…we will kill ourselves to be noticed.”

Fueled by blistering guitar riffs, thunderous breakdowns, and the band’s classic blend of hard rock, hip-hop, electronic, and alternative elements, “New Disease” serves as an explosive return from the Lancaster, PA-based rising stars. The song also first premiered exclusively on SiriusXM’s Octane channel on Thursday, July 24th ahead of its official release.

In addition to this weekend’s Warped Tour performance, the band will soon be embarking on their headlining New Disease Tour across the United States this fall. Tickets and information for the band’s upcoming shows can be found here
