3OH!3 returns with addictingly sweet new single “SLUSHIE”

Date:

It’s time to grab the skinny jeans and colorful bracelet stacks out of the back of your closet because 3OH!3 just released the first taste of new music in over five years. “SLUSHIE” is the alternative duo’s newest addictingly sultry track, which promises to cool you off as the summer heats up.

Reimagining their classic scene roots, “SLUSHIE” is an infectious tune with a synth-heavy production that effortlessly conveys 3OH!3’s charm from start to finish. The song’s irresistibly catchy nature proves that the duo’s still got that same high-energy presence from the 2000s while pushing forward and continuing to expand the band’s horizons. If there’s one thing “SLUSHIE” aims to do, it’s compel you to freeze it on repeat. Speaking on the track, 3OH!3 share,

All the best parties take place within walking distance of a SLUSHIE machine, the perfect cure for a hot, sweaty afternoon. Go ahead, show up to the party with your tongue purple, red, Teenage Ninja Mutant Ninja Turtle green, royal blue… get it how you wanna get it. We hope you enjoy ‘SLUSHIE’, a mix of all our favorite flavors, built to blast with the windows down!”

3OH!3 have a jam-packed second half of the year ahead, which began with their performance at the Washington, DC stop of Vans Warped Tour in June. The duo is set to make appearances at the Long Beach, CA date this weekend and the Orlando, FL date in November. They’ll also be joining Simple Plan, Bowling for Soup, and LØLØ this summer in the US for the Bigger Than You Think Tour, kicking off on August 9th in Seattle.
