Revealing more on his song, Tongren confides, ā€œ’Franconia’Ā is about falling in love – with a person, a place, or both all at once.Ā  It’s the sudden, undeniable pull that feels destined.Ā  Over time, it becomes more than just a place – it becomes a state of mind, a memory, a metaphor for how certain people and places leave their mark on you.ā€

Tongren’s band Young Rising Sons have opened for acts among the likes of The 1975, Weezer, Bleachers, and Halsey. “Franconia” is Tongren’s second release as a solo artist which sets the stage for an enticing array of new music to follow.
