New England melodic hardcore outfit Stab have officially dropped their debut album, Lost In Maine, out now via Unbeaten Records. Recorded in the dead of winter in Belgrade, Maine, with producer Evan Sammons, the seven-track release translates the feeling of a bleak Northeast winter into high-energy, vibrant hardcore designed for pile-ons and two-stepping.

The band – comprising vocalist Nik Coggins, guitarists Joe Bradshaw and Matt March, bassist Griffin Kronemer, and drummer Jeremy Breau – balances raw aggression with nostalgic, catchy hooks. Features on the record highlight the community of hardcore, with Citizen’s Mat Kerekes appearing on “New England Numb” and Josh Hynes of Recollection lending guest vocals to “V.”

“Stab as a whole is a love letter to where we’re from,” the band shared regarding the release. “Musically, we’ve been spoiled to grow up in the New England hardcore scene. Lyrically we’re trying to capture how and where we’ve grown up. The melancholy and loneliness of a New England winter, falling in love during the summer months, battling addiction, losing your friends… and pushing on despite it all.”
