Everything Everything end their ‘Revive Live’ tour with huge support in Portsmouth

Date:

As part of the post-pandemic initiative in the UK to reinvigorate live music in independent venues, Everything Everything concluded their Revive Live tour at the Wedgewood Rooms, Portsmouth, with a sold out show to a hugely engaged and appreciative crowd. Run by the Music Venue Trust and The National Lottery in the UK, the series of tours gave fans a chance to see bigger bands in intimate venues.

Frontman Jonathan Higgs said they’d enjoyed the run of small venues “a hell of a lot more than the bigger places”. Indeed, the energy in a 400 capacity venue full with dedicated fans and a superbly talented band is a happy place to be.

The crowd were singing along, hands in the air, all the way through the huge twenty song set list, yet it was over all too soon. Highlights included “Jennifer”, “Pizza Boy”, and “Bad Friday” from their latest album Raw Data Feel. The band finished with “No Reptiles” from their 2015 album Get To Heaven.

A superb show from an extremely talented band, with a dedicated following, in a lovely venue. Can’t get much better than that on a Wednesday night. #ReviveLive #MusicVenueTrust
