Sam Ryder unveils bold new single “White Lies” ahead of North American tour

Date:

British powerhouse vocalist and songwriter Sam Ryder has officially dropped his newest single, “White Lies.” Co-written with industry veterans Nick Lobel (Beyoncé, Miley Cyrus, Harry Styles) and Trent Dabbs (Kacey Musgraves, Lady A, Little Big Town), The track blends soulful rock influences with Ryder’s signature vocal firepower.

After skyrocketing to global fame through TikTok, where his 14M+ followers and support from stars like Justin Bieber, Alicia Keys, and Sia propelled him into the spotlight, Ryder quickly became one of the UK’s most celebrated new artists. His hit single “Space Man” earned him a #1 UK album, billions of streams, and high-profile performances—including an unforgettable set at the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert at Wembley Stadium.

“White Lies” sees Ryder embracing creative independence, stepping away from major labels to partner with the independent imprint Artist Theory. He has spent the past year refining his sound in Nashville, immersing himself in its rich musical culture and working alongside some of the industry’s top songwriters. The result? A fresh, authentic, and deeply personal evolution of his artistry.

“I realized I’d been telling myself a lot of white lies as a coping mechanism,” Ryder shares. “After years of rejection, suddenly everything took off, and while it was incredible, it was also overwhelming. Stepping away from the major label system allowed me to take a deep breath and create the music I’ve always dreamed of making. ‘White Lies’ felt like the perfect way to kick off this next chapter.”

In support of the single, Ryder is embarking on a highly anticipated North American tour this May, hitting major cities like New York, Chicago, Nashville, Toronto, and Los Angeles. His live performances—known for their raw energy, powerhouse vocals, and emotional depth—are set to be a must-see event.
