2025 is a big year for actor and musician Joe Keery. The Stranger Things alum, known in music as Djo, has announced a 2025 tour and a new album, The Crux, arriving April 4. The album follows his viral hit from last year, “End of Beginning.” Keery announced today (Jan. 24) that The Crux will be released under AWAL and serves as the follow-up to his 2022 album, DEDICDE. He co-produced The Crux with frequent collaborator Adam Thein at Electric Lady Studios in New York City. Presave The Crux now.
“End of Beginning” gained massive popularity a year after its release, thanks to TikTok. The song reached the top five on charts in multiple countries and peaked at No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100. To date, it has amassed over 1.3 billion streams on Spotify.
This news comes ahead of the fifth and final season of the highly anticipated Netflix series Stranger Things. To support the upcoming album, the 32-year-old released the lead single, “Basic Being Basic,” and announced a world tour titled the Back On You Tour. The tour, with support from Post Animal, will run from February to June 2025, passing through North America, Europe, and Australia. Tickets go on sale Jan. 31.
