Julia Calvin Releases “Tunnel Vision”, Her First Song of 2024

Date:

Julia Calvin recently released “Tunnel Vision”, making it her first track of 2024. The Costa Rican/American singer-songwriter, based out of Los Angeles, combines Latin influences and indie-pop in her music – making a mix of “Spanglish”.

In her newest song, Calvin combines smooth, polished vocals with energetic instrumentation to create an infectiously catchy tune. The dance-pop beats add a vibrant touch to the song, making you feel every note all the more strongly.

About her new release, Calvin said:

“This song is part of my upcoming Spanglish indie pop EP. I wrote it when I realized one of my closest friends didn’t really care about me (or anyone else in her life) unless we were doing well and made her look good. I decided I didn’t have to hang out with her anymore… but I’m also very non-confrontational, so instead of telling her how insensitive I thought she was I wrote a song about it to feel better. I was starting to experiment with production, so this is the first song I wrote to a track I made.”

Calvin’s ability to create a catchy, memorable summer song does not disappoint. If you like to dance, “Tunnel Vision” was made for you.
