Sometimes, certain relationships feel like a waste of time and peace of mind. In their latest single “Waste My Time,” New Friends explores this exact relationship.
“Waste My Time” is a fast-paced song about deciding to spend time with a certain person, even though it may be a bad decision. In scenarios like these, it feels as though time is being wasted, but the wasted time is still wanted. The song is the second single off of their upcoming EP and the follow-up to “Doomed,” their first single which also uses a similar catchy and upbeat soundtrack to discuss a topic much deeper.
