CHVRCHES announces new album ‘SCREEN VIOLENCE’ and North American tour

Date:

Scottish indie-pop band CHVRCHES has released the date for their fourth studio album Screen Violence along with the announcement for their forthcoming North American tour with Donna Missal. Screen Violence drops on August 27th via Glassnote and follows the band’s previous studio album Love is Dead in 2018.

These tour dates coupled with the band’s new music news coincided with the release of their new single “How Not To Drown” featuring the Cure’s Robert Smith

This single follows the band’s previous single “He Said She Said,” which is also on the upcoming record.

Singer Lauren Mayberry went on record about the release: “I think for me it was helpful to go into the process with the idea that I could write something escapist almost. That felt freeing initially, to have concepts and stories to weave your own feelings and experiences through but in the end, all the lyrics were definitely still personal.”

You can pre-order Screen Violence here.
