LIVE PHOTOS AND REVIEW: Walk Off The Earth// Toronto, ON.

Date:

Walk Off The Earth played at the Canadian National Exhibition for the Bandshell Concert Series. The bands popularity skyrocketed with their 5 person one guitar cover of Somebody I Used To Know, by Gotye, back in 2012. Since then they have continued to release unique covers as well as original songs such as “Red Hands”, “Rule The World”, “Hold On” and “Gang Of Rhythm”.

The band just released a song called “I’ll Be There” which was about the recent passing of one of the members, Mike Taylor (Beard Guy). After this they announced to expect more new music as they are releasing a new album in the fall of 2019.

Both their covers and originals use an array of instruments such as guitars, ukuleles, banjos down to kazoos, didgeridoos, and even….. forks, piggy banks, and coffee mugs. The band brings each of these instruments to the stage as all the members are talented multi instrumentalists. The show was high energy entertainment from start to finish as people, of all ages, from the front of stage to the back were dancing and singing along with the groups perfect harmonies.
