Zach Hood’s newest track “Neon Skies” weaves a tale of love, loss, and hope together

Date:

From Alabama to LA, Zach Hood is a true testament to the commitment to create music true to his heart. Born and raised in the “Jubilee City” of Daphne, AL, he discovered his passion for music at a young age, influenced by Bruno Mars and fueled by his love for the piano, which he taught himself to play through hours of watching YouTube tutorials.

His newest track “Neon Skies” weaves a tale of love, loss, and hope together, all while painting a vivid picture of a world bathed in neon hues. Metaphors like “northern lights” and “neon skies” describe the magical and mesmerizing nature of the relationship. The northern lights are known for their dazzling, colorful displays in the sky, and they symbolize the intense and breathtaking experiences the singer has with their loved one. The neon skies evoke a sense of vividness and excitement, emphasizing the uniqueness and brightness of their bond.

On top of the metaphoric use of lights and skies, Hood’s desire to settle down and overcome any past fears of love because this person is worth it shines through with lyrics. “I’m bad at love, but I swear I’ll try” suggests a vulnerability and admission of past struggles in relationships, but the singer is determined to give their all to this one.

With nearly 2 million monthly listeners on Spotify and nearly 150k followers on Instagram, Zach doesn’t show signs of slowing down any time soon.
