Young Culture announce final EP and release heartfelt new single “Broken Paper Plane”

Date:

After announcing that their upcoming first-ever headline tour will be their last, Young Culture has shared that their final EP All Weapons Against Me Have Prospered will arrive on November 21st.

The Albany-based pop-punk group also shared their vulnerable new single “Broken Paper Plane.” The heartfelt track is an open letter of apology to someone from the past and the first written by guitarist Gabe Pietrafesa after becoming sober. This song showcases a more melancholy and emotionally heavy side of Young Culture that hits especially hard after the news of their looming break-up. In an Instagram post sharing the news, the band shared,

“This body of work is Young Culture at our most authentic. It’s something that the 4 of us are so proud of. Thank you everyone for growing up with us, and being here for this moment…Young Culture forever.”

The group was formed by Pietrafesa and vocalist Alexander Magnan in 2016. Since then, the now four-piece has gone on to release three full-length albums and share stages all over the world with the likes of The Maine, State Champs, This Wild Life and more.

Young Culture will be embarking on their first and final headlining tour across the United States, kicking off in late November. The tour wraps up with a hometown finale at Empire Underground on December 16th. Tickets for Young Culture’s final shows can be found here
