Yalee is an artist, philanthropist, advocate, and entrepreneur. He uses his background and story to inspire the music he makes and the lives he changes today. His new release, “Paper Cups Paper Plates, Pt. 2” featuring Kvng Shad, celebrates the sacrifices his mother made to preserve joy, beauty, and abundance throughout his childhood.

“Paper Cups Paper Plates, Pt. 2” hits home with lucid beats, visceral vocals, and a grippingly emotive hook at its heart. Yalee sings, “Paper cups, paper plates / Not a lot to eat, but we still saying grace.” Yalee reflects on how his mother put her children first and asked for nothing in return. “Paper Cups Paper Plates, Pt. 2” is a heartwarming tribute to the power of love, which fulfills us through our greatest struggles.
Originally from Dayton, Ohio, Yalee brings in fellow Ohioan Kvng Shad for a creative collaboration that pays homage to his roots. Yalee recently gave back to the community by handing out money at the Santa Monica Pier and teaching the crowd the chorus of “Paper Cups Paper Plates, Pt. 2”. Yalee has previously worked with Fetty Wap and toured with Mac Miller. Continuing to forge ahead with great strides in music, activism, and business while still honoring where he came from, “Paper Cups Paper Plates, Pt. 2” is dedicated to his ever-evolving story.
