Rising star Will Linley has released his latest single, “Cinematic,” and an adorable music video to go with it. The South African singer-songwriter gained traction on TikTok in 2021 and has been hard at work since, touring with Em Beihold, performing with One Republic, and appearing on bills with the likes of Gwen Stefani and Sam Ryder. His emotional first single, “miss me (when you’re gone),” rapidly ascended the charts in South Africa after its 2021 release, and the easy rock party tune, “Last Call,” is his most popular song on Spotify to date.
Linley continues to impress with “Cinematic,” boasting a groovy four-on-the-floor in the verses, which makes its danceability undeniable. The chorus is also extremely catchy and easy to sing. Linley artfully illustrates the thrill of the early stages of falling in love, when the risk and reward may be equal, but you just can’t resist.
The release has been met with great excitement from fans, and Linley even hinted at an upcoming album in an Instagram post, sharing:
