Walter The Producer fuses modern rock with hypnotic disco on “Roadtrip”

Date:

Walter The Producer continues to intrigue listeners with newest single, “Roadtrip,” off of his upcoming EP Modern Rock. The singer, songwriter, producer, and mixer has paved his own path in the modern rock space, taking influence from artists like Tame Impala, Steve Lacy, and Childish Gambino.

“Roadtrip” can be described as modern rock meets hypnotic disco. The beat is fun and lighthearted, creating an irresistibly danceable tune. The track uses forward-thinking production to create a sound that feels refreshingly current and retro all at the same time. The single was born in the artist’s apartment before teaming up with Maxx Morando to make it what it is today. Walter The Producer expresses his excitement:

“Little me wouldn’t believe any of this. I just wanted to be a producer, but this is a dream I didn’t even expect. Maybe I’ll shift more to production in the future, but right now…this is cool. I’m just going to keep dropping music.”
