The Young Man Releases Energizing Summer Track “Makeshift Lullabies”

Date:

Alternative pop band The Young Man released their second single of 2024, “Makeshift Lullabies”, yesterday. With a Spotify discography dating to 2022, the band is making an impressive rise in the industry– one of their top tracks, “Reruns”, has amassed over 700,000 streams since its release in 2023 EP Next To You.

“Makeshift Lullabies” opens with energizing guitar chords and upbeat drums, setting the tone for an electrifying love song. The lyrics tell the story of a relationship that started with phone calls all night, and while it seems to be ending, it is all but over. A catchy chorus propels the song onward, creating a catchy summer tune that can elevate any mood.

The Young Man took to Instagram prior to the release of “Makeshift Lullabies”:

“‘Makeshift Lullabies’ releases at Midnight! We know it’s been a while… but we hope this one was worth the wait. Appreciate you guys for hanging around and showing the rest of our music so much love.”

The song is sure to be a hit for fans of The Band CAMINO, Colony House, and Young the Giant. Check out “Makeshift Lullabies” anywhere you stream music.
