The Band CAMINO has returned with their latest single, “Infinity,” marking their first release since their 2024 EP Bruises, following The Taking Shape Tour. Released on April 23, the track starts a new chapter for the Nashville-based trio — Jeffery Jordan, Spencer Stewart, and Garrison Burgess — as they enter their tenth year together. After an Instagram post with a not-so-cryptic caption, posted on the anniversary of the release of their very first single, the band knew a new single release was the only appropriate way to celebrate.
“Infinity” dives into the concept of cycles: habits, relationships, and experiences that seem to repeat until we finally understand them. The band describes it as “seeing the end and the beginning as two sides of the same door,” aiming to capture the feeling of finding who they’ve always been while hinting at who they are becoming. Despite the monotony, a constant glimmer of something good always appears in a “silver lining,” as stated again and again in the chorus couplet. A clear diversion from the pop direction the group was headed toward, “Infinity” includes production we have never heard from the trio before, including back and forth line and percussion breaks. In classic CAMINO fashion, Jeffrey Jordan sings the verses while Spencer Stewart covers the chorus, even singing different lyrics over one another like in previous track “Get It Your Way.”
The accompanying music video directed by Sophia Matinizad (Cage The Elephant, Jessie Murph), released simultaneously, visually complements the song’s themes. It features the band members in expansive natural settings, symbolizing introspection and the infinite loops of personal growth, running towards something but never reaching an end.
Since their formation in 2015, The Band CAMINO has amassed nearly 1 billion career streams, sold out global headline tours, and received critical acclaim from outlets like Rolling Stone and Billboard. Last year’s Bruises EP was met with equal enthusiasm, as the band returns to their roots. With “Infinity,” they continue to evolve their sound and artistic vision, offering fans a glimpse into their future musical direction.
