The 1975 Release New Single + Announce Two New Studio Albums

Date:

Yesterday, The 1975, one of the hottest indie-rock bands on the globe, released “Give Yourself A Try”, their first single in over two years. The single was premiered on BBC1 Radio with Annie Mac, paired with an interview that revealed some pretty exciting news.

Many eager fans were anticipating a new album titled “Music For Cars”, as teased by lead singer Matty Healy for months. However, Matty revealed on BBC1 that “Music For Cars” will not be an album, but rather an era. Within the “Music For Cars” era there will be not one, but TWO studio albums! This October, the first of two albums, “A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships” will be released, followed by the release of second album “Notes On A Conditional Form” next May.

Fans were blown away to hear this news. Two full-length LP’s in the span of eleven months? Now that’s what we like to hear!
