“One More Time” is the latest release from the Memphis-based band StopGap Solution. A group comprised of seasoned musicians, StopGap started as a couple of friends getting together to see if they could write music together. After years as a band, they’ve found success supporting larger rock bands like Switchfoot and Shinedown.
This latest single is about the ending of a relationship, and not yet wanting it to end. The lyrics beg the other person to “hold me tight, one more time” before they leave. A powerful guitar supports incredible vocals by Chris Allen, letting the song slowly build towards a catchy chorus. “One More Time” fits nicely on any grunge rock playlist.
