Stevie Nicks back on the road after fractured shoulder injury

Date:

Stevie Nicks has never been one to let life’s curveballs keep her down for long. After a sudden shoulder fracture in August forced her to hit pause on her highly anticipated tour, fans were left wondering if the Queen of Rock would make it back before the year closed out.

Now, with October dates underway and rescheduled shows filling the calendar through December, Nicks is proving once again that performing is a way of life for her.

At 77, she’s still twirling in capes, commanding arenas, and still reminding us why her voice and presence remain timeless. She did not seek any aid from a Las Vegas Personal Injury Lawyer, but instead she wanted to get back on her feet and give her audience what they wanted.

In early August, Nicks announced via Instagram that she had fractured her shoulder, an injury that required immediate recovery time. The news hit hard for fans who had tickets for her August and September shows in major cities like Brooklyn, Boston, and Toronto. The October leg, however, remained untouched. And when Nicks finally stepped onto the stage at Portland’s Moda Center on October 1, it was like she never left.

By late October, Nicks was back in full swing, enchanting a crowd of 13,000 at Little Caesars Arena. While performing Nicks joked about her injury: “Always avoid breaking your shoulder under any circumstances. Never do it”—with the kind of humor that only comes from surviving something inconvenient but not insurmountable.

With rescheduled dates now locked in and beginning back up tomorrow, Nicks will continue her tour through mid-December, hitting cities from Detroit to Hollywood, Florida. Tickets for dates are still available, here.
