SpaceAcre releases next single on upcoming EP

Date:

Pulling inspiration from their favorite heist movies, Phoebe Little and Jas Scott of SpaceAcre perform a heist of their own; females rebelling against society to take back their power. Donning cow masks, the pair runs through the UK street.

The soundtrack to the duo’s heist is “That Girl”, an indie-rock song with heavy drums and numerous guitar riffs, urging listeners to go on the same kind of heist. This song comes as the fifth single released on a seven-track EP set to release on July 27th, also entitled That Girl.

It comes as no surprise that this song title was chosen to represent the album as a whole, as it has an air of importance to it that Little and Scott want to display.

“‘That Girl’ is an empowerment song for anyone who identifies as female. We wrote it after hearing from friends, who are part of the queer community, that they’d been receiving more verbal abuse on the streets recently. Their stories are all too common at the moment.”
