Sawyer has “No Shame” on newest single

Date:

Sawyer’s newest single encompasses a night long past, filled with drugs, alcohol, and good company. The song tells the story of a night that the narrator wishes they could return to, even if it might have been filled with unhealthy coping mechanisms. “No Shame” goes back and forth on whether or not it was the time of their life or a night to quickly be forgotten.

The song is filled with a deep synth, layered in overlapping vocals that carry the momentum forward. While the song is undoubtably shoegaze at its core, elements of rock like background guitar riffs and percussion are littered throughout and create a unique sound.
