Psychedelic grooviness meets soft siren’s “California Heatwave”

Date:

LA-based dream-pop band soft siren combines their talents with artists Sidewalks, Skeletons, CASHFORGOLD,and Michael Coe (Count The Clock) in a new single titled “California Heatwave.”

The song, released on Friday, is sun-drenched indie rock fused with forceful, groundbreaking, and driving electric guitars with hazy, ethereal vocals and dreamy harmonies. This type of psychedelic groove and nostalgic West Coast shimmer evoke the feelings of driving at golden hour.

The band takes inspiration from artists like Cocteau Twins, Mazzy Star, and Lana Del Rey, a perfect fit for playlists like Neo-Psychedelic Rock, Psych & Groove, and Modern Psychedelia.

This single’s release follows the drop of their undeniably successful debut single “4am,” amongst other popular songs such as “Too Far Gone,” “Dethereal,” and “Like You Found God.” The band is set to release their highly anticipated debut album in this year.

soft siren effortlessly blends together ethereal beauty, haunting melancholy, and cinematic allure. The band drifts between reality and reverie, pulling you into a dream state where 90s shoegaze and trip-hop nostalgia collides with 70s psychedelic warmth. Ethereal vocals float over feedback-drenched guitars, creating a delicate yet haunting sound.
