Phoric urges others to embrace the pursuit of happiness on new single “Fulfillment”

Date:

Phoric, a Miami-based indie pop musician shaped by contemporary genre-bending sounds, released his new introspective single, “Fulfillment,” on Feb. 7. With a desire to confront themes like mental health, happiness and growth, Phoric—which stands for ‘euphoric’—combines electronic production with meaningful lyrics to craft a distinct storytelling style.

A core goal for Phoric is to create music that resonates deeply, building a personal, vulnerable connection with his audience. In “Fulfillment,” he explores the pursuit of happiness, emphasizing the non-linear journey required to reach it.

Phoric’s style consists of real, honest lyricism aimed to tell the whole story, instead of fast-forwarding to the good part or end goal. Lines such as “Tried some things that didn’t taste right / Ignored what was in front of my face like / You know you want me / It’s fine keep pretending / And I’ll keep haunting you,” capture the struggle within the search for happiness. Phoric hopes listeners will find inspiration in his persistence, believing that if he can push forward, then so can they.
