OAKLND Shows Vulnerability with “you found it easy”

Date:

OAKLND, rising pop sensation whose online presence has been subtly growing, has just unveiled his first release of 2023 titled “you found it easy.” Despite the track’s upbeat nature, it follows the narrative of both a breakup and the emotional turmoil that ensued. Combining musical styles reminiscent of The 1975 and Holly Humberstone, “you found it easy” offers a captivating, dreamy synth-pop sound, accompanied by catchy and effortless lyrics.

“you found it easy” starts off with several synth layers and a simple rhythmic foundation, followed up by OAKLND’s delicate vocals. As the pre-chorus unfolds, it morphs into a reverberating dreamscape, eventually soaring into a slightly more raw chorus, with a heavier beat and additional rhythm guitar. The entire track feels like the perfect farewell to summer, delivering a mellowness that blends seamlessly with its easygoing melodies.

OAKLND’s musical prowess has not gone unnoticed, as he previously graced Spotify’s “New Music Friday UK” and “Fresh Finds” playlists, demonstrating his knack for crafting irresistibly catchy records. As noted by BBC, “you found it easy” “feels like something you might catch at coachella, 1975 fans will love this.”
