The wait is over! Rising rockstars and Nashville natives Shyeye and Showing Teeth have announced their long-awaited collaboration, “Knot.”
Originally written and co-produced by Shyeye (Destiny Keller) and Maksym Romanenko in 2024, “Knot” delves into the feeling of being emotionally tied to memories that are difficult to break free from.
Channeling that angst into a mini rock ballad, Shyeye presents those feelings with relatable precision, turning vulnerable reflection into a song we can sing our hearts out to.
Last October, metalcore vocalist Showing Teeth did a joint collaboration remix with Shyeye on her original song, quickly gaining over 1.4 million views on Instagram and TikTok alone. Piquing the interest of both Shyeye and Showing Teeth fans, hundreds of fans comments wanting them to release a full, studio-recorded cover. Months after hearing our wishes, it was finally granted yesterday on Instagram with the artists teasing that the release that is set to drop next Friday:
With “Knot” hitting 2.5 million streams on Spotify, yet another milestone, both OG and new supporters of these emerging artists are ecstatic to hear their vocals on full display.
The news comes after Shyeye’s first tour, festival appearances and sets at PRESIDENT’s recent show at The Hall in Little Rock on March 18. Shyeye also appeared at Gazed and Confused Fest in Dallas on March 20.
Showing Teeth is also becoming a rising powerhouse in modern metal. Having only released two original songs, “Labyrinth” and “Rip”, over the past four months, Showing Teeth has already made her public debut at venues such as The Rave USA / Eagles Club in Milwaukee and the Old National Centre in Indiananapolis.
Showing Teeth is also booked and busy for the remainder of this year. Her upcoming festival appearances include Rock Fest in Cadott, WI, this July and Louder than Life in Louisville, KY, this September. Devoted alternative fans are in for a treat.
