After wiping all posts from their social media accounts and cryptic “ghostly” therapy session teasers staring The Walking Dead actor Ryan Hurst, metal band Bad Omens makes a stunning return to the scene with their newest single “Specter,” marking the start of a new era following their 2024 album CONCRETE JUNGLE.

The hauntingly serene visuals coincide perfectly with lead singer Noah Sebastian’s elysian vocals. These elements tied in with the song’s melancholic piano and grappling explosion of drums and lyrics encapsulate the remnants of a soul latching onto the distant and dark memories of their life, never being able to escape the illusionary limbo within the mind.

Formed in 2015, the Richmond, VA-born band consists of lead singer Noah Sebastian, bassist Nicholas Ruffilo, producer and guitarist Joakim “Jolly” Karlsson, and drummer Nick Folio. The group’s experimental success comes from three albums: Bad Omens (2016) Finding God Before God Finds Me (2019) and The Death of Peace of Mind (2022)under Sumerian Records.
