Montell Fish announces new album ‘Charlotte’ out Aug. 23

Date:

Alternative R&B artist Montell Fish has finally announced that his new studio album, Charlotte, will release on Friday, Aug. 23.

The album follows the release of his latest single “Is it a Crime?”, a guitar-driven R&B track that features Fish’s signature falsetto vocals and seductive lyrics that makes him vie for complicated yearning amidst romantic entanglement.

Co-produced by Jacob Portrait, Charlotte is a 13-track record, set to feature various collaborations including Daniel Caesar, Clams Casino, Alex G and more.

The album announcement comes on the heels of his 2022 release Jamie, and more recently, the latest discussion titled “Divine Rejection” with Omar Apollo, which was released Friday, July 12 at 10 a.m. ET. In this discussion, Fish discussed the brand new album, Charlotte, and their paralleling career experiences and futures in music.

While Fish has been releasing music for seven years, since 2017, his breakout single, “Hotel,” was released two years ago.

Preorder Charlotte now.
