Monotronic fights off old habits in new song “Everything Moves”

Date:

Monotronic is a collection of artists in New York City willing to experiment with sound. Formed in 2016, they are known for their mix of indie and electronic music and are heavily influenced by other genres across the world. Their latest release “Everything Moves” focuses on being trapped in a cycle.

“Everything Moves” is about going back to old habits. Through strong guitar and punchy percussion, Monotronic warns listeners of the dangers of rewriting your history. Lyrics such as “Get out of your head / Into the world / See for yourself / Now you’re on your own” show the downside of getting caught up in your past.
