Meimoun Knows Their Worth On New Single “I Know, I Know”

Date:

Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Meimoun has been surrounded by an eclectic, vibrant music scene all their life. Their musical influences range from soul and jazz to rock and beyond. Meimoun’s new single “I Know, I Know” fearlessly blends indie and soul into a captivating song about self-worth.

“I Know, I Know” is about knowing who you are. Over lush harmonies and dancing piano, Meimoun sings, “I know, I know, I know my deepest truth / It’s up to me to act however I choose / Nobody knows what’s right for me like how I do / I can pick and choose and I never lose”, placing emphasis on being confident in your abilities and to love who you are.

Meimoun shares the meaning behind “I Know, I Know”:

“I wrote this song to remind myself to honor my inner truth in times of deep feelings that often lead to confusion. It also serves as a mantra to live authentically no matter what.”
