Maya Hawke has just announced her return with upcoming album Maitreya Corso. The project hits streaming services globally on May 1.
Known for playing Robin Buckley on the hit Netflix show Stranger Things, this will follow Maya’s most recent album Chaos Angel in 2024. Maitreya Corso follows a character created by her in her own fantasy world, a “magical misfit, whose sheer inability to adapt to the surrounding world allows her to create a world of her own, and to explore the positive and negative power of the ego.”
Maya is set to collaborate on the album with producer Christian Lee Hutson (Phoebe Bridgers, boygenius, Conor Oberst), making this their second full-length piece of work together.
The album’s lead single, “Devil You Know”, is out now on all platforms.
