Sub Urban releases enchanting single “Hiraeth” ahead of ‘If Nevermore’ deluxe album

Date:

The creative mastermind has done it again: Sub Urban opens the door to his artistic brain in his latest moody song, “Hiraeth.”

Exploring a deep longing for what may never have been, “Hiraeth” is a playfully disconcerting track that continues Sub Urban’s genre-bending path and theatrical sound. The new song delivers an expectedly unexpected side of Sub Urban’s discography, mixing reverse sounds, beat skips, and a dark, alluring vibe that is simply enchanting.

This is the third single from Sub Urban since the release of his second studio album, If Nevermore (2025), following the latest tracks “Mercury” and “555.”

Hiraeth” is out now, available on streaming platforms

The alternative artist confirmed that If Nevermore (Anhedonia), the deluxe edition of his sophomore album, is set to be released on April 1, featuring “555,” “Hiraeth,” and two more currently untitled tracks. The deluxe edition is available to pre-save here

Sub Urban is currently joining Two Feet on the NYC artist’s The Next Steps tour through their stop in Chicago, IL, at Park West on March 21. The beloved East Coast natives have collaborated since joining forces on their whimsical single, “PATCHWERK,” in 2021. Remaining tickets are available here
