With over 1 billion streams and 6M monthly Spotify listeners to date, rising star Matt Hansen just released his new single “Somewhere in Between.”
Hansen explains that this single “tells the story of a relationship caught in transition where love, loss, and self-discovery exist all at once.” He continues:
“It explores the space where you’re still connected, but already starting to change, and the way love reshapes you, even after it’s gone.”
The single is Hansen’s latest release from his forthcoming debut album, which is set to be released in spring 2026. This track is preceded by “COMPASS,” which landed in the Top 10 on Spotify’s New Music Friday.
Despite not having the support of a traditional label, Hansen has had a tremendous rise. As a fully independent artist, he has cultivated a devoted global fanbase, sold out headline tours across three continents, and surpassed 1 billion streams.
The forthcoming debut project will showcase many of the songs that got Hansen to where he is now, including fan favorites “Something to Remember” (300M streams), “LET EM GO” (300M), “yellowstone” (50M), and “DON’T LOOK BACK”, alongside new material that further explores his artistry.
