2025 is the 50th anniversary of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and celebrations for the occasion are well underway, the most recent of which being a collectible special edition vinyl of the film’s iconic soundtrack.
Set to be released on Ode Records, like its original companion, it will be pressed into heavyweight red and gold vinyl. To match, the vinyl will be packaged in a heavyweight gold foil jacket and a redesigned inner sleeve — and what’s more, it comes with previously unseen photos and a production diary from producer Richard Hartley.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show first premiered in 1975, and over the years, through midnight showings and entertaining crowd antics, the movie gained a strong cult following that is still going today.
The 50th anniversary vinyl release can now be purchased on Amazon and the Record Store Day Market.
