Hailing from Los Angeles, emerging pop artist MARIS is dropping her upcoming EP, MOSH★PIT, on September 18. Alongside her announcement, she released the project’s energetic title track today — a sparkly and emotionally-charged anthem oozing late-night dance floor vibes and community catharsis.
MARIS collaborated with producer Dylan Bauld, using the imagery of heavier subcultures to champion the energy of absolute community formed through live music. She balances rock influence with massive pop choruses, a formula that has propelled her into a massive wave of popularity. Born in Montana, the singer-songwriter recently wrapped a tour that covered national college campuses, and released hits “Missing Me” and “Body is On Fire” (which has garnered over a million streams).
