KiKi Holli & The Remedy Abstract the Present Moment on “Running Out Of Time”

Date:

KiKi Holli & The Remedy emerge with an expansive, dark wave reminiscent single entitled “Running Out Of Time”. The project is championed by Los Angeles-based artist KiKi Holli. She recently expanded to include “The Remedy” as part of her title to celebrate the involvement of her live band and creative collaborator and Grammy-nominated producer Ethan Allen.

“Running Out Of Time” transports listeners to a liminal space with effervescent atmospherics, wistful synths, and ruminative vocals. She croons, “Sands fall through the glass / Nothing ever lasts / Much too far to get away.” The dark wave and dream pop influences collide on this track to produce an entrancing and thought-provoking hybrid of sound. “Running Out Of Time” leans into the impermanence of being human by abstracting the present moment through art.

KiKi Holli has a BFA in voice and theater. She co-wrote and starred in Forever Dusty: The Dusty Springfield Musical. Her background as a performer informs her captivating charisma as a singer-songwriter. “Running Out Of Time” marks a new era for KiKi Holli & The Remedy as she continues to push boundaries in the alternative scene.
