KennyHoopla teams up with Travis Barker for the energetic ‘BLINK AND YOU’LL MISS IT//’ EP

Date:

Alternative artist KennyHoopla joins forces once again with legendary drummer Travis Barker for his latest release, the long awaited EP ‘BLINK AND YOU’LL MISS IT//’. The frenetic song compilation is jam packed with 2000’s punk nostalgia, yet still keeping KennyHoopla’s eclectic style.

Right off the bat, the drum intro of “Sabotage//” sets the tone for the rest of the three-piece compilation. The listener is immediately greeted with a melodic pop punk track that is heavily inspired by the sound of blink-182, which will persist all throughout. “T-SHIRT//” follows along the same lines, both dealing with deep self awareness and introspection despite the highly electric beat behind it. The vibe continues with the raunchy “MARRY KILL F*CK//“, a wild carefree track that still looks inward.

In just under 10 minutes, the EP smashes its way through with intense energy, catchy lyrics and a healthy dose of nostalgia that many millennials will connect with. The release has an even deeper meaning for KennyHoopla, as he joined blink-182 on tour: “This capsule is just a batch of songs I made to accompany and celebrate the blink-182 tour! Some old ideas and some new. Just wanted to have fun and make music (…) ‘BLINK AND YOU’LL MISS IT//’ just kind of represented this tour being a next level for me as an artist and how challenging it can be to live in the moment when the moment can feel unbelievable”

“BLINK AND YOU’LL MISS IT//” is now available on all streaming platforms.
