Jimmy Eat World announce Bleed American 25th Anniversary Tour

Date:

Last week, Jimmy Eat World announced their upcoming tour to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their album Bleed American. They had previously announced 3 celebratory gigs in the UK, but they’re now adding to their schedule.

The 2001 album received widespread critical acclaim and features hits including “Sweetness,” “Hear You Me,” “Bleed American,” and the band’s most iconic song, “The Middle.” The success of Bleed American helped the band reach mainstream success, and the album went platinum in 2002.

Lead vocalist and guitarist Jim Adkins shared more about the announcement:

“I feel like at this time in our lives, especially for me, it’s important to get back to a place that you can savor. This tour is designed to be an elevated version of our show, a heightened experience with production that reflects 25 years of learning how to stretch artistically in the live environment.”

The tour kicks off in June at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado and will travel to cities across the US, Canada, Mexico, and the UK. Select dates are slated to feature guests such as Hot Mulligan, Thrice, Sunny Day Real Estate, Motion City Soundtrack, The Get Up Kids, and more.
