Having established a career as a songwriter, collaborating with renowned artists and producers, and now recently having embarked on her solo journey. Following the release of “Loop,” RÓISIN is back with her third independent single “Right By You.”
Giving us a taste of her upcoming EP, RÓISIN’s “Right By You” draws influences from the early 2000s pop/rock sound and feels like it belongs in the soundtrack of a coming-of-age film.
Drawing inspiration from her childhood experiences, she explains, “Ever since I was young, I have always found it easier to communicate my feelings through carefully thought out written letters. If I didn’t write out what I wanted to say, I would usually start to cry and forget every word. These lyrics are a letter to someone I once trusted more than I trusted myself.”
With such raw emotion and delicate soft vocals, RÓISIN takes the listener on a transformative journey of learning to value oneself and making choices that align with personal growth and authenticity.
