Good Rzn’s “Far From Me” has major main character energy

Good Rzn‘s “Far From Me” has major main character energy. The Los Angeles based duo (Josie Molasky and Tommy Ghirardini) have crafted a song that seamlessly blends pop, rock, and electronic sounds, and features flashes of pressurized psych-pop. The track’s 1st verse could be the perfect soundtrack to the final scene of a TV drama – the abrupt transition from verse to chorus aligned with the sudden cut to the credits. “Far From Me” is a wonderfully captivating, layered song that keeps us coming back for more.

Molasky and Ghirardini say, “‘Far From Me’ was one of the 1st songs that we wrote as Good Rzn…(We intended) to bring the rock sound that we were inspired by our whole lives into a more electronic space. The track ultimately took about 2 years to fully develop and it’s one of the songs we’re most excited about on our debut EP, Falling in Slow Motion. The lyrics address themes of being away from someone close to you or something you love, and the ensuing growth and strife that occurs in that setting.”
