PEPTALK are irresistible on “urs”

Date:

PEPTALK have released “urs,” the next single to promote their upcoming debut EP. The band (keyboardist Jay-Lee Kwan, bassist Lara Frew, and lead vocalist Phoebe Sinclair) are two-thirds queer, two-thirds POC, and all female – and determined to be the positive representation in the music industry that they longed for when they were young. Inspired by indie-pop groups like The Aces and MUNA, PEPTALK’s “urs” is a high-energy pop track with an irresistible hook. They detail a “near-debilitating crush” and admit that even if it’s unrequited, they’re “delighted to just take in the view.”
