Dolo Tonight is checking into the “Hotel On Your Heart”

Date:

Bedroom/indie pop New Jersey-based artist Jonah Elias Rindner, formally known as Dolo Tonight, has recently released another banger titled “Hotel On Your Heart.” It’s a fizzy burst of indie rock mixed with the nostalgic remnants of an old VHS tape aesthetic, channeling the bounce of Phoenix and early Passion Pit with this addicting radio hit.

In a TikTok video, Dolo Tonight explains more about the process of producing and writing the song:

“…i had a major crush on a girl, and i wrote it about her. we made it in, like, 45 minutes. it happened so fast. at first, i didn’t even think [that] i really liked the verses, but my friend who i was working on it with was like ‘you have to do it.’ and now i love it, i love the song so much…this one means a lot to me, this is a really cool one. im really excited about this one.”

“Hotel On Your Heart” comes as the third pre-released single from his first studio album via Epitaph Records, DVD Rental Store, releasing on October 3rd. The artist expressed that this debut album feels especially authentic to him, following the success of two EPs, several standalone singles, and millions of streams: “For the first time, a lot of my personality is coming through in these songs. More so than in the past.”
